Never say Never! No one thought they would make one in 40S&W.cuz '40 is dead' everybody said.I believe that a 45acp is in development. (think American/Security 45 pistol magazines)Ruger was toying with The original police carbine in the 1990's in 45acp. They never ended up producing them but they could now?I was able to talk to a Ruger rep at length yesterday.The.40 was pure luck that they were able to shoehorn it into the existing action. To accommodate the.45 ACP and 10mm they would have to redesign the ENTIRE carbine.
Jan 21, 2018 Review of the Ruger Police Carbine (PC) 9 By B. With ShotShow 2018 next week and Ruger releasing their new modernized version of the PC9 I. New Ruger 9mm Carbine; If this is your first visit. ETA - It's 6.8 pounds, so only slightly lighter than the Police Carbine. I assume that means they're using the same heavy slide as the Police Carbine. I'm guessing they're going to be extremely reliable, as is/was the PoPo carbine. If it runs even close to as well as the original ruger.

Not a small undertaking. At least five million dollars to creat the first prototype. He told me to never say never, but at this point it's not even being discussed at Ruger and at this point they don't feel there's enough market demand for either the.45 or 10mm.
